Research Activities
This division conducts studies on mitigating the impacts of disaster on urban society. Among others, researches on the emergency responses of the urban infrastructures, local communities, industrial and economic sectors immediately after the disaster, their best schemes after and during recovering stage of the disaster in terms of short to long-term plans, and their proactive measures to minimize the impact of disaster to the urban society.
